End of term dates
Friday 22nd July - End of year reports issued.
School closes at approximately 1.30 pm, after form time. (Students must attend form time to collect their reports and get full attendance for the day.)
Thursday 18th August - A Level results (Kett Sixth Form). Availible from 9.00am in the Kett Building. (Written permission must be given if someone else is collecting results. Results that are not collected will be posted to the home address at 2.00pm)
Thursday 25th August GCSE Results - 9.30am - 12.00pm in Room 1
Mon 5th/Tues 6th September - Staff training days
Wednesday 7th September - Students come back to school
During the morning students will be issued with their timetables, journals, etc. They will have a chance to catch up with friends, find their new classrooms, meet their new classmates/teachers and settle in.
Students in Years 8 - 11 should return the reply slips from their Academic Reports issued in the last week of term.
Lunchtime will be as normal (12.30 - 13.15, with registration in form rooms from 13.20 - 13.40); formal lessons will start in the afternoon.
Thursday 8th September - Year 13 students start term. Year 12 students also return for Sixth Form induction.
Monday 12th September - Year 12 formal lessons begin.
4pm onwards - Year 7 'settling in' Parents' Evening in Main Hall. (Appointments will be made with Form Tutors at start of term.)
